Summer Camp Registration Process
The first step in the registration process is to fill out the online application. Please be sure to fill out all required information and pay the registration fee. No applications will be processed without a paid registration fee. This fee is a processing fee and is non refundable. If you pay by check, the application will not be processed until the check is received.
After the registration is submitted and registration fee paid an email confirmation will be sent to the email used to register. If you do not receive an email please check your spam folder. If there is no email received that means the application was not received. Please then fill out the application again. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
For returning campers please allow 2-3 weeks for processing. While all attempts are made to accept campers to their requested sessions there are some instances where we need to change the session. If that is the case a member of the camp administration will be in touch to confirm the change prior to the acceptance being sent.
Acceptance letters are emailed to the email submitted with the application. Parents/guardians are responsible for forwarding these letters to their Support Coordinators/Perform Care/ other funding sources. Acceptance letters do serve as the initial invoice for Camp Jotoni. The Arc of Somerset’s finance department will send out follow up invoices, but the initial acceptance letter is the initial communication that payment is due. All payment is due no later than 6/1/2020, which includes authorizations from PerformCare and Support Coordinators.
For new campers, an email will be sent to the email address submitted with the application for a new camper intake. Please note that we prefer to hold our new camper intakes at Camp Jotoni, and due to the seasonal nature of the site, there may be a delay in the initial intake appointments. You must sign up for an intake appointment if your camper has never attended Camp Jotoni or hasn’t attended within the previous five summers. After the intake appointment a decision will be made within seven days on your camper’s acceptance which will be communicated via email.
All campers need updated medical forms every summer. This includes a physical within 12 months of their expected attendance during the summer.
All campers must adhere to our medical policies or they will not be allowed to attend Camp Jotoni.
